The Ocean Calls

We had to paint FROM SCRATCH this week in PIRC. This is my feeble attempt at recreating this photograph of Luke looking out over the Pacific Ocean two years ago. I miss the ocean terribly.

Stained Glass Ghosties

So the tutorial on stained glass was really great, but I'd seen way too many of the cute flower ones coming through the list. I decided to try my hand at designing my own and used the spirit of the season for inspiration. Of course, being a virtual stained glass artisan has its benefits... most specifically that I can cut beautiful round holes out of full plates of glass with no mistakes.
