We enjoyed a lovely, quiet Sunday afternoon of my childhood - complete with a pot roast that cooked much quicker than I expected. But because of that, the kids and I were able to mix together a batch of sugar cookie dough and cut out Halloween treats. I'm grateful for the wonderful cookie cutters that Gramma Gigi gave to us last year.
