Aidan shows off his dancing moves

I'm grateful that Anna brought her munchkin over to my house this afternoon and that I was able to witness his new skill -- drunken sailor walking.

First snow of the season

Yeah, that's snow. And I'm pretty sure the autumn equinox doesn't start until NEXT week.

I'm grateful that it takes only a flick of a switch and goodbye AC, hello heat!

The kids' school

I was dreading Back-to-School Night because last year we didn't get out of that school until after 10:00 p.m. I'm grateful they released us almost an hour earlier this year. Way to go in managing time, PTA Board!

Goodbye Portland!

Goodbye Portland!

I'm grateful the presentation was a success and that I'll be sleeping in my own bed tonight.

Thank God for elevators

Par for the traveling course, I'm grateful that we landed safely and my attention to matching my underwear never became important in an emergency situation (although, I did idly wonder as I was dressing this morning that if there were an air accident, there would be nothing left of us, not to mention my underwear, so why was I so worried that they were clean and matching?). But I'm also grateful, as Dave, my traveling partner was, that our hotel has lightening fast elevators, because our rooms are on the 7th and 6th floor, respectively.

Ruth reads about beautiful Batty

I'm grateful I was home in plenty of time to have Ruth read to me about beautiful Batty.

The Bible of Bryce

I'm grateful the Bryce bible is in my library. There is no way I could have done the Bear Lake flyover without it. What an insane program to try to get around in!
